Canvas oil painting. Formerly collected by the Sun Fo couple, and donated by Sun Fo's daughter Su Suihua in 2014.
Chang Shuhong (1904-1994) was from Toutianzuo, Hebei, and born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. He was an outstanding older-generation painter of China, particularly good at oil painting and research on the Dunhua art. He once served as President of the National Dunhuang Art Institute, and President of the Dunhuang Art Institute (later known as the Dunhuang Research Academy)..
