Commemorative stamp of the “Postal Anniversary Stamp Exhibition”. During March 20-26, 1948 and May 19-25, 1948, the General Post Office held a stamp exhibition in Nanjing and Shanghai respectively, and released commemorative stamps on March 20 and May 19 respectively..
In this set of stamps, a new stamp with a face value of 5,000 Roc dollars was made from the 10-cent commemorative stamp for restoration featuring Dr. Sun Yat-sen's portrait released on Year 1 of the Republican China period merged with the 500-dollar stamp of the 50th anniversary of the General Post Office, being the first stamp on stamp of China. The ones released on March 20 were rosy (toothed, toothless), and those released on May 19 green (toothed, toothless).
